Tsinandali is the largest viticultural area in Kakheti, surrounding Telavi east of the Capital Tiblisi. It was the poet Aleksandre Chavchavadze who first installed a mass-production Marani in the area in 1835. This white wine blend is mild, delicate and fruity. Excellent as an aperitif.
